Emma is doing very well with her tricycle this summer. If she is good, she can ride until her heart is content. I wanted to practice adding a photo, so here is one.
OMG what a little doll!! Thanks for posting the pic Amy :) I'll have to get you to teach me ;-) Glad she's doing so well with it this summer. How long did it take her to get the hang of it? Anyway, love the pic!! Can't wait to see more :)
What a BIG girl!! She looks darling!! I still have to get the hang of posting here...hmmm....I have some cute pics of Joshie at Hippotherapy......I'll have to try later this afternoon! Thanks for sharing the pic of cutie patootie Emma!!
Thanks girls. Yeah, she had really only been on it about 3 times last year. She got it late in the year. She didn't really have the stamina to pedal like one or two times. I mostly pulled her with a guide handle or pushed her. It was weird when a couple of weeks ago I put her on it for the first time this summer. I didn't really expect her to actually pedal it. Her energy is always so low. The first day we got it out I was pushing her and though she looked sweet, so I ran in to get the camera of the kitchen table. She was on it in the garage. I just literally stepped in the kitchen door, and when I went back out, she was pedaling solo down the driveway. I was shocked.
Amy, She looks fabulous!! We saw some adaptive tricycles the other day at an adaptive recreation day..they are SO cool...and such great therapy for her, especially if she enjoys it! That's half the battle! :)
Ooh, ooh, Amy, that is so fantastic! Post more pics, post more pics!!! I'd love to see what the entire tricycle looks like (hey, I'm always out for ideas for Ellie!). Emma ROCKS!!!
